In order to access data across the Microsoft technologies, API Training explores Data Access Technologies and ADO.NET Training modules, which provide programmers and developers uniform and comprehensive ways of developing applications that can access almost any data store.

API Training’s, Data Access Technologies and ADO.NET Training courses cover the following specific technologies:

ADO.NET:
ADO.NET is a set of computer software components that programmers can use to access data and data services. It is a part of the base class library that is included with the Microsoft.NET Framework and is commonly used by programmers to access and modify data stored in relational database systems, though it can also access data in non-relational sources. ADO.NET is sometimes considered an evolution of ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) technology, but was changed so extensively that it is typically considered an entirely new product. API Training provides Data Access Technologies and ADO.NET Training that teaches students to connect to data sources, retrieve and manipulate data, and perform data updates. Students will also examine the various ADO.NET classes, including Connection, Command, Data Reader, Data Set, Data Table, Data Relation, and more.

Language Integrated Query (LINQ) :
LINQ is a Microsoft .NET Framework component that adds native data querying capabilities to .NET languages. LINQ defines a set of method names (called standard query operators, or standard sequence operators), along with translation rules from so-called query expressions to expressions using these method names, lambda expressions and anonymous types. These can, for example, be used to project and filter data in arrays, enumerable classes, XML (LINQ to XML), relational database, and third party data sources. In class, students will learn to use this exciting new Microsoft.NET Framework feature to easily create complex data-independent queries.
